Men’s Retirees’ Ministry
Meets at 8:00 am the first Thursday of each month at Lisa’s Restaurant in Hazel Green. All men are invited.
G.A. Mission Project
Our GA’s are sponsoring a canned food drive for 305 8th Street, a group home for mentally challenged adults, to fill their pantry. They are collecting items in the box in the fellowship hall through May 27th.
Children’s Ministry Announcements ~
Children’s Church and J-Team will meet on May 13th and May 20th. J-Team will not meet during the summer. Children’s Church for K-3rd grades will resume on June 10th and continue through the summer as volunteers are available.
Leaders and helpers are needed to assist with summer Wednesday night activities for K-6th grades. Please contact Jessica Bumbalough to sign up!
CentriKid Camp Meeting – Sunday, May 20th, immediately after morning worship. Your final balance is due by Wednesday, May 16th.

Lunches of Love
Donations are needed to finish the school year. A list of needed items is in the bulletin and above the box in the Fellowship Hall.
Baccalaureate Service – May 27th
Parents of graduates - please call the church office to make reservations for you and your graduate. Breakfast begins at 8:45 in the Upper Room. Due to limited space, breakfast is limited to graduates and their parents only. There will be a reserved area in the sanctuary for all family members of graduates to sit together during our 10:15 service. Don’t forget to get your pictures to Bro. David or Rob Champion!
WEE Care Registration for 2012-2013
Registration is now open for current WEE Care families and FBCM members. Open public registration will begin on March 20. We have classes available for ages 18 months – 4 years (by Sept. 1). WEE Care provides age appropriate learning activities for each age group which include Bible education, art, music, readiness skills, and social skills. Classes are from 9:30 – 1:30 and are available on Tuesday – Friday. Call Kim Hutto at 348-3531 or come by during WEE Care hours to register or get more information.
Sharing a Full Cup
Stop by the Friendship Class table Sunday mornings and buy a cup of coffee or refreshments on your way to class. All proceeds go to help support the children of San Antonio, Guatemala.
Penny Project
Help feed the homeless by donating your “Penny Items” each week to the Penny Project. Drop them off in the brown box in the fellowship hall and they’ll be delivered to the Rose of Sharon. To learn more go to www.pennyprojectnow.com.
