SUNDAY SCHOOL (Sundays at 9:00 a.m.): Small group time where children learn Biblical truths. Kindergarten meets in the preschool hall. First – 6th grades meet upstairs in the worship center.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP SERVICES
(Sundays at 10:15 a.m.)
All K-6th grade children meet in the chapel for the opening worship. After a time of announcements, rules/consequences and welcome songs, K-2nd grade continues worship in the old fellowship.
K-2 Children’s Church: Age-appropriate worship with Elevate Kids curriculum. Elevate Kids is a comprehensive curriculum designed for children that will take your children on a fun journey of biblical learning.

WINTER SESSION 2012: “Winter Extreme”, an extreme look at the teachings of Jesus.

J-Team Worship: (Transitional Worship for children in grades 3-6) includes elements of adult worship on an upper elementary level. Worship includes fun music, praise music, scripture emphasis, a skit to reinforce the sermon, offertory, sermon and altar time. Time permitting; a review game is played to further relate the lesson’s points.

WINTER SESSION 2012: “Building Up”, a study of Nehemiah
J-Team Worship invites volunteers to worship with the children each week. Please volunteer by signing up on the bulletin board next to the resource room or by emailing Martha Newman at kand3m@bellsouth.net.
FIRST SUNDAY FAMILY WORSHIP: In an effort to provide family worship opportunities, K-2 Children’s Church and J-Team Worship (grades 3-6) do not meet on the first Sunday of each month.
SUMMER WORSHIP: K-2 Children’s Church enjoys children’s worship while
J-Team Worship (grades 3-6) enjoys family worship in adult services.

CHILDREN’S DISCIPLESHIP: Sundays from 5:00 – 6:00 pm
The following classes will be offered:
K-2: “God Rocks” BibleToons Bible Class, an active, interactive class where they will explore “Build Each Other Up” and “Serve One Another”. this class will meet in the 5 year old room with Jana McGriff and Trish McCalla.

3rd-4th Grade will learn Route 66 – Bible Skills using games and fun. This class will be played… we mean…TAUGHT by Jeff and Heather Maynard and will meet in the old fellowship hall.

5th-6th Grade will “Grapple” with the tough questions in the life of pre-teens with Group’s “Grapple” curriculum. Glen McGriff and Stacia Jones will lead this class in the chapel.
We’re having a GREAT time in discipleship this session.

Spring Choir: Grades 1-4 are enjoying “The Pirates of the I Don’t Care-ibbean”, with directors, Mrs.Tina Ruiz, Mrs. Lori Quick and Mrs. Amber Stuart. Spring Choir meets in the old fellowship hall.
POG (“Pictures of God”) 5th/6th Grade Bible Study: Kenny and Martha Newman lead Pictures of God (by popular author, Mark Oestreicher), which teaches about the character of God, what God has to say to us and how to apply it to our lives. This class meets in the Mark Sunday School classroom but will relocate to the new Sunday School house soon.

Disciple-Now for Kids (grades 4-6):
A weekend of praise & worship, Bible study, games and fellowship. This Friday evening – Sunday morning event inspires 4th – 6th graders to go deeper in Bible learning and grow deeper in their relationships with others. Children stay in host homes and are led in Bible Study by college & high school leaders.

(Grades 4-6): CentriKid is a five day, four night camp to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ! From the future sports star to the young scientist to the rising chef, every kid gets to participate in exciting activities of their choice. Kids will take part in Bible study, recreation, track times, and worship. Camps are staffed by college and seminary students who can’t wait to hang out with your kids and love to share Christ through every aspect of camp!
