How We Got The Bible
Meeting in Room W-147 (Joshua)

Lead: Dr. Bob Wilson

This 9-week study explores the remarkable journey of Scripture—from God speaking His Word, to its writing, preservation, translation, and arrival in our hands today. Using Timothy Paul Jones’ How We Got the Bible, we will examine the inspiration of Scripture, how the canon was recognized, how manuscripts were copied and transmitted with accuracy, and how our English Bibles developed over time. By understanding the Bible’s history, we grow in confidence, deepen our faith, and become better equipped to explain to others why we stake our lives on this Book.

The Anchored Home
Meeting in Room W-215 (Genesis)
Lead: David & Kim Hutto
The Anchored Home
calls parents and guardians to reclaim their God-given role as the primary spiritual leaders in their children’s lives, grounding family life in biblical truth rather than letting the pressures of today’s culture pull them off course. Rooted in Scripture and practical insight, the book equips families with six “anchors” to build a Christ-centered home that stands strong and resilient. It encourages faithful, purposeful parenting that leaves a legacy of discipleship for future generations.

The Knowledge of The Holy
Meeting in Room W-214  (D-6)
Lead: Carvil Chalk

The Knowledge of the Holy invites readers to deepen their understanding of God by exploring His divine attributes—such as His holiness, wisdom, love, and sovereignty—and warns that a diminished view of God leads to a weakened spiritual life. Tozer argues that knowing who God truly is (as revealed in Scripture) fuels reverent worship, transforms our faith, and reshapes how we live in relationship with Him. This classic work challenges believers to move beyond shallow ideas of God toward awe-filled intimacy with the Holy One.

Praying The Bible
Meeting in Room W-153 (Elizabeth)
Lead: Dr. Willie Brunetti
Praying the Bible
by Donald S. Whitney teaches believers how to use Scripture as the foundation of their prayer life so they’re never at a loss for words. By praying through God’s Word, we learn to align our hearts with His, allowing Scripture to shape our thoughts, desires, and petitions as we grow closer to Him.
