Baptist Doctrines
Meeting in Room W-147 (Joshua)
Lead: Pastor Bob Wilson
Baptist Doctrines explores the historic beliefs that shape Baptist faith and practice through a study of The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, which also serves as our church’s statement of faith. Students will learn the history of this statement, examine its teachings in light of Scripture, and understand how these doctrines are lived out in the life of a believer. This class is especially helpful for those who are new to the Christian faith or Baptist life, as well as those preparing to teach, serve, or lead in the church.
Sacred Marriage
Meeting in Room W-215 (Genesis)
Lead: Pastor David Hutto
What if God’s primary purpose for marriage is not simply to make us happy, but to make us holy? Based on Sacred Marriage, this class will explore how God uses marriage to deepen our relationship with Him and shape us into the image of Christ. Whether you are newly married or have been married for many years, you will discover practical, biblical principles for strengthening your marriage and growing together in faith. Join us as we learn how a Christ-centered marriage can bring glory to God and be a testimony to others.
True Worshipers
Meeting in Room W-214 (D-6)
Lead: Pastor Matthew Julian
The question is not, “Are you a worshiper?” but rather, “What kind of worshiper are you?” The worship of God matters, and together we will discover what kind of worshiper God is looking for. Join us as we study what a “True Worshiper” of God looks like and seek to honor Him in every area of our lives.
The Knowledge of The Holy
Meeting in Room W-218 (M-28)
Lead: Carvil Chalk
It’s not too late to join us in our study of The Knowledge of the Holy! You can join us right where we are. Each chapter of this classic text stands alone. Throughout this book Tozer invites readers to deepen their understanding of God by exploring His divine attributes—such as His holiness, wisdom, love, and sovereignty—and warns that a diminished view of God leads to a weakened spiritual life. Knowing who God truly is (as revealed in Scripture) fuels reverent worship, transforms our faith, and reshapes how we live in relationship with Him. Let’s move beyond shallow ideas of God toward awe-filled intimacy with the Holy One.
Exalting Jesus in Philippians: Unity in the Church for the Sake of the Gospel
Meeting in Room W-153 (Elizabeth)
Lead: Glen Miller
The book of Philippians is a joyful reminder that our greatest purpose is to exalt Jesus in every area of life. Through this verse-by-verse study of Exalting Jesus in Philippians, we will discover how the gospel calls us to live with humility, joy, and unwavering faith. Special emphasis will be given to unity in the church for the sake of the gospel, encouraging believers to serve together with one heart, one mind, and one mission. Join us as we grow in our love for Christ and learn how a united church can make a powerful impact for the Kingdom of God.
